"Welcome back, Gaddis." Blair Wainwright smiled as Salvatore held the door open as they entered the police station.
It was back to work for Salvatore following his wedding. Blair showed him around as they made small talk.
"My dad is mad at my mom," Blair said. "They both work at the science facility ad dad was promoted to Carnivorous Plant Tender. But mom, who had that job before him, was promoted to Aquatic Ecosystem Tweaker. So, she still outranks him and he made some kind of remark about it and they got into a big argument."
They continued the work day.
"Mom is trying to set me up with Gobias Koffi. He works with them. He has a reputation for having commitment issues. Which really is problematic because I fall in love too easy. I'm just a hopeless romantic."
