I'm not exactly sure what your asking?
Find your files and then open up Windows Explorer.
On the left hand side under Folders, go down to Documents,
then to Electronic Arts,
then to The Sims 3 Create A World,
then to UserToolData.
then click on SourceTextures.
Now just drag and drop the new .dds files into the SourceTextures file.
I don't know, is this what you are referring too?
And for the second part of your question , if you are referring to the issues Regina has been dealing with at Bogsims Institute, as of yesterday her site was completly clean. Absolutly no threats. I think she spent the better part of a week going through every file. What a nightmare that must have been.
If you want to check in with her I'd post on her thread dealing with her textures, there is a link on the first page, below the links to her textures. She's not as likely to check this thread.
