It has a five car garage, with a possible teen room above the garage or a man (or woman) cave. It has a large courtyard with a fountain. and a big huge yard for a pool, an enclosed porch, etc.The rooms that are on my list to do is a library/study, a music room, a formal living room, a formal dining room, an eat in kitchen, numerous bedrooms with a master ensuite and probably some secret rooms and multi-basements (one being a wine cellar underneath the kitchen) and possibly multi level.https://farm1.staticflickr.com/315/19552401155_0aa07a436a_o.jpghttps://farm1.staticflickr.com/451/19364463538_38fd33468e_o.jpgSo in this green space, I was thinking having an orchard. I was also thinking perhaps a horse stable? If I turn the space over the garage into a teen space, or whatever, I could also turn it into an apartment of sorts with a bedroom in the attic space. I also kinda like the idea of a kids space upstairs in the attic with maybe two bedrooms, a small bathroom and a small play area.Talking about it definitely makes it exciting, pulling it off just right will be the challenge. But so worth it in the end. I will update as I go.

The Kitchen & Mudroom off of the GarageSo I was able to work on the mudroom off the garage and the eat in kitchen. The Wine CellarSo as I have time before work tonight, I realized I forgot the wine cellar underneath the kitchen. With this much space, the wine can age over the generations, and the heir could create a wine to age for future generations in the secret room. So because of this, the smaller yard is now going to become a vineyard.

The Foyer, Entrance Way and Enclosed PatioI got quite a bit more done. First is the entrance way from the vineyard. I have it mostly complete, just waiting for it not to be winter, and I think I will get the fruits and nuts from the store to complete it, so stay tuned for that.https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3767/19670381099_ba962bd8e3_c.jpgSo I'll need to decide how I want to transition from the entrance way into what the rooms are going to be on both sides. There is still quite a bit of openness, so I am thinking of using part of the space for an indoor pool and spa on the other side of the house. I think it's a great start to this Grand Main Entrance. A fireplace for those cold winter days, plenty of space to add pieces, and some wall space for paintings from the household or photographs. And I used one of the photos to be the founding ancestors of the Steam Family to add a bit more history to the home. An option for either BBQ or Japanese cuisine. Looking on the Sims Store, there is also an option for the Brunch at the Old Mill which allows you to serve tea during tea time and Canning, with two new plants, corn and cucumber. So I definitely think I may add those as well. I wish they would separate the sets like they used to, I don't need all of them. The Old Mill set does have the option to have those stairs that go up, have a landing, and turn. I think those would be perfect for this home, especially if I modify them to look more modern and contemporary.Still a lot more to do and plan.

The Kitchen & Mudroom off of the Garage

So I was able to work on the mudroom off the garage and the eat in kitchen. So mudroom first.

Your WIP Luxury Mansion is looking very nice! :) The design of the exterior looks very nice! Your plans for the home sound great! The mud room is great! The painting on the wall looks nice with the texture of the walls, and the colour of the curtains complements with the picture and the walls. The design and furnishing of the kitchen is very nice! It is great that you have placed the woodstove oven in the kitchen for sims to enjoy cooking meals in. The black brick walls looks nice with the colour of the counters and cabinets.
The WIP is looking great! :)

Aww, thanks Rose. I actually have the wine cellar done, so I'll update that today and I plan on working on the formal dining room maybe today before I head off to work.

The Wine Cellar

So as I have time before work tonight, I realized I forgot the wine cellar underneath the kitchen. So as I had the kitchen completely done and didn't want to reconfigure it, I decided to bump out the entrance of the kitchen and add in an elevator on one side.

The wine cellar is very nice! :) It is great that you have a secret room in the cellar! The wine racks look nice how you have placed them in the cellar. Sims will enjoy making nectars using the nectar making machine and storing them in the racks. The flame wall lights look nice and suit well the type of area in the build. The wall and floor texture is very nice!

Thank you! I do need to update as I have the dining room done. Hoping I can get it all up tonight before I head to bed. The kitchen was definitely one of my favorites after I saw ATS3's conversion.

The dining room is very nice! :) The patterned floor rug under the table adds to the nice look of the room and goes well with the dining seats. The pictures on the walls are nice for sims to look at when dining there. The wall texture looks very nice! It looks nice how you have placed the seats in the corners of the room.
It is very nice place for sims to enjoy eating their meals :)
