Build-n-Share Challenge # 10 - The Sloppy Bachelor

This Week’s Challenge Specifics:

You decided to stop by the community pool during your lunch break for a quick refreshing dip in the pool. Arriving at your office, you pass by your assistant, who was looking quite strange with a clothespin clamped over her nose.
In a nasaly voice, she says, "You have a client waiting in your office."
You decide not to inquire about the clothespin and open the door to your office, where an immediate waft of air immediately hits your senses and you understand why your assistant has that thing over her nose.
The nervous man quickly stands up and reaches for your hand. "Hi. My name is Jimmy. Jimmy Applejacks."
You regretfully take his hand for a quick sweaty handshake before taking a seat at your desk, reminding yourself to wash your hands as soon as the client leaves.
"What can I do for you Mr. Applejacks?" you inquire.
"Please, call me Jimmy," he responds and continues. "I think I am in way over my head. You see I recently bought a piece of land after moving out of my mom's basement."
The smell was getting to you, but you try your best to continue to listen, crinkling your nose a bit.
"You see... I thought I could build a house myself, and I have... but... Well, I don't know quite how to explain so I brought some pictures." He then ruffles through a pocket and produces some bent photographs, laying them out across your desk.
"Oops, not that picture. I don't know how that got in there. That's the picture I used for my online dating profile," he laughs nervously before shoving the picture of him back in his pocket.
Not wanting to get too off topic, you quickly respond, "Well, Jimmy. How may I rectify your housing issue? What are you looking for?"
"The house I have built has suited me just fine. I have everything I need, as you see. But I have put myself on the market and I am hoping I can have a place where I can properly entertain and have the laaadies over, and eventually... maybe I will settle down." After a pause, he then adds, "Oh, by the way, is your assistant out there single? She is mighty pretty."
You cough a little and attempt to swing the conversation back to the house. "So what are your requirements for the house?"
"At least 3 bedrooms and 2 baths so I can eventually accommodate a family, but what is important to me now is an impressive master bedroom," he begins to blush a little before continuing. A pool would be nice and maybe a nice bar/lounge area somewhere in the house. Oh, I also need a nice office for all my computer equipment."
"What about a style? Any architectural or design style you prefer?" you ask.
"I'll leave that solely up to you as you are the expert. I am no good with those things and that is why I have come to you," he replies. "Whatever is pleasing to the eye and suits a bachelor.. something that will impress the ladies and will not scare them away."
You try your hardest not to suggest a few helpful hints about actually showering, but you hold your tongue. "What is your budget?"
"I've already sunk quite a chunk of simoleans into this build and I would like to salvage as much as possible, so if we can keep all the objects I have there now, that should help with my remaining budget of around 43k simoleans. That is everything I have."
"Hmm, I think we can swing that," you reply. At least it wasn't another starter!
"Oh, one last thing," he says. "I don't have anywhere else to stay, so I will have to live on the property as you build. I hope that won't be a problem?"
You think about it for a second and respond, "I guess we can see how that works out. Hopefully we will be done and you will have a proper place to live in a week."
With that, you stand and start to usher Jimmy out of the office, unable to stand his smell anymore.

This is not quite a renovation, but you are required to reuse all of the objects currently placed on the lot. Feel free to change any walls, foundations, doors, and windows. You can place this on any 20x30 lot. The challenge this week is to build a mid-range house with Jimmy's remaining funds, as you will be building this with him on the lot. This means some pre-planning might be needed! He has around 43k simoleans left to spend, so you should be able to build a decent sized house from that. Absolutely no kaching or motherlode cheating!


Optional Side Challenges:

Roof Pitch Challenge
Adjust your roof so it has different pitches. If you don't already know how to, please study these links.

Make-Over Challenge
Using only the dresser and the mirror (no cheats or hacks allowed!), make over Jimmy so he is more presentable to the ladies.

Marriage Challenge
Find Jimmy a wife!
