Build-n-Share Challenge # 20 - Fall Designer Showdown
This Week’s Challenge Specifics:
Turning off the ignition to your car, you take a deep breath before getting out, accidentally slamming the door. Yes, you were a little stressed. Clients were typically easy to please and you were used to exceeding their expectations. However, the house looming before you now was a different story.
It was an honor to be invited to participate. As far as you know, only top designers were asked, so the pressure was starting to get to you. In your bag, you had your plans ready, but you still couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous.
The lot was relatively big with a big yard, so you knew landscaping will play a major role in this competition. Curb appeal and design choices will also be key as the rules state that you won’t be allowed to change the shell structurally. You can replace doors, windows, fences, columns, and stairs, but they have to remain where they are currently positioned.
Although your reputation as a builder was already stable and widely acknowledged, winning this would add a different level of satisfaction. Plus, it would look real nice in your portfolio/resume.
Your crew was due to arrive any minute, so you decided to go on inside for one more quick walk-thru.

Some notes:
This is a 40x40 lot and must be placed on a 40x40 lot, nothing bigger. You can designate the rooms however you like. You can change the roof pattern to match your exteriors, but not the roofing style and shape. There is NO budget, so get creative and show off!
Edit: Pasting some answers to some questions that have come up.
The theme is completely up to you. It doesn't have to have to be autumn themed, but if you would like to do that, then go ahead. I just added "Fall" in there because we may have future ones ... like a "Winter Designer Showdown" in January or something. Hehe. Hope that makes sense.
It's Week 20 because NYC was actually 2 weeks. Week 18 was the families. Week 19 was the lots.
Interior walls have to stay the same, and yes, you can add flooring to the 2nd floor! Forgot to do that.
The roofs have to stay the same shape. If you can somehow add a balcony without messing up the roofs, go on ahead.
