Sheesh, having seen how spacious some of these builds have been, I feel like mine is so crowded and cluttered looking, lol. Well, I'll call it "cozy", haha.
HotBlackSand , Cloud Nine -- Even though you had to change your rugs, the new choice looks really nice with the rest of your decor. I like the stonework everywhere, along with the purple and green color scheme. The bedroom is so spacious and great additional living space down in the basement. You even added a good sized balcony space for plants, a telescope and an easel. Great job!!
Kcity74 Ode to Delia Deets - Love that you used the different textures on the exterior and I really like the black and white striped wallpaper throughout and the bat/spider wallpaper in the powder room. I like the mix of gothic and modern and the home definitely gives off a Delia Deets vibe. Amazing that you were able to fit in 2 bedrooms and a garage! Great work!
Kcity74 Decrepid Domicile - I like the name for this one! Great job at making it look like this place hasn't had a makeover in a very long time, lol. The boarded up windows and the added junk items out front really adds to the "decrepidness" and the spookiness of the house, along with the hidden grave marker under the haunted plants and the fog. Love it!
JudiAlbert Mystery House with Gamble Ghosts - Very spooky looking with the ghosts floating about, along with the haunted plants outside and the cobwebs inside. Great that you were able to have a front porch and the rustic rocker was a nice touch. Another build that contains 2 bedrooms - impressive. Kinda cool that the main living area is actually located down in the basement and that you added the sliding bookcase door to access it. Nicely done!
Thanks for the feedback Sandraelle ... My build is really more of a house with Halloween decorations than a house built for the Halloween feel. I still appreciate the inspiration to build a small house, and I am having a blast playing it (although I kept the rugs in my version ... 🤣).
I was surprised I was able to get 14 planters in the build which is plenty for Rebecca to grow what she needs for elixirs, bait or food. She can make a decent living that way, not to mention she has written 8 hits and 2 bestsellers since living in the house.
Where I put the house, there is a view in every direction, and it plays well. I sacrificed some room in the bathroom, so I can drop one of the couches in the bedroom and put in a crib if necessary. I can clean out and condense some of the space in the basement, move the den down there, and add a bathroom and kid's room on the top floor.
The good witch Rebecca might not be spooky ... But it is scary what you can do with the space available, and it is fun playing a build I would have never thought to build otherwise. It's also a step up from living in an igloo or napping on a couch, eating raw fruit for a Sim Year, because her tent and burn pit got stolen ... 🤣
