V E N E Z I A | realistic Venice world WIP

I started working on this world a year ago. It is based on the actual city of Venice. I'm trying to make it resemble the real place as much as possible. The world is completely road-less and transportation is based on water so you must have Island Paradise installed in order to play. I went ahead and started building many important landmarks. I still haven't built houses or done any landscaping at all. I'm not good at using CAW so making a world with many canals and bridges is no easy task. Without further ado, I present you Venezia.

Map of the world. Still quite empty. A city like Venice is very dense so I will probably use some decor buildings for some lots to make sure the world is playable.

The Venice themed world looks so very, very nice! :) You have recreated in simform the buildings so very well! It will be such a very special world for sims to live in! It looks so very great!

What a beautiful world! I particularly like the attention to detail you've given to all of the buildings. When I first saw the pictures, I thought you were showing pictures of the real city that you were using for inspiration, and then I realized that they were of your world. It's just wonderful! <3

Stunning so far. It would be awesome if it was possible to build without CC, however I can certainly admire from afar. Looking forward to seeing more screenshots as you progress :smiley:
