Yamamoto & the Orphanage

December 16th to 31st 2008

Quiana Wilkie’s friend Benni Hennessey told Quiana about her job at the Spa, where they could use another teenage girl. Quiana quit her job at the pool and started working at the spa with Benni. Interested in learning about manicure, pedicure and massage techniques. The first day was ok, but she was struggling to find the right attitude towards the costumers. Not used to fake smiles and sucking up to wealthy snobbish ladies.

Hana took a long walk with Takumi in the stroller, while the weather was still fine. She knew, winter cold could kick in at any point this time of year.

Nicklaus Butler joined up with a group of criminals who run their illegal business out of an old, abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town. Making secret deliveries for them.

It has started to snow.

Yasuhito Yamamoto sneaked of to the dance club. Needing some personal time away from the family. Giving all he had, dancing the night away. He may have had a bit too many drinks though, as he peed his pants in the middle of the dance floor. A rumor that would clearly spread fast, and possible also reach his mother and wife, sooner or later.

Near the beach, Kiyo Yamamoto met Leonard Sterling from the orphanage. Despite the age difference, they bonded well. Paulette Lin joined the group and they all decided to test the water, without worrying about the cold and snow. Paulette turned 13 this month.

After grandmother Masaki started at the restaurant, the Yamamoto family uses a babysitter when need be. He may not look the type, but Jacoby Grubb is very good with the children.

Autonomy: Everything else, but I accepted to hire the babysitter.
