Hi Hydra,
This home is built for our CCforum favorite cheerleader and uplifter, Rosemow. She shared with her friends that she is not well and feeling poorly. So this home is built with and filled with love for her..not only from me, but for everyone that she has spent countless hours encouraging with her time, words and spirit.
This home is built especially for our beloved forum friend, Rosemow. I wanted to build her a beautiful, fairytale manor, with soft, restful colors and loveliness throughout.
AND! She specifically asked for “teddies”..so there are teddy bear scattered throughout the build, just for her!

The front of Rosemow’s Rest:
The back of the property:
Close-up of the conservatory:
This private formal garden is viewable and accessible from the conservatory and the eat-in kitchen, and from the second floor, two balconies, from the music room and the nursery look down up on it:
The outdoor kitchen and view from the pool:
The pool and hot tub with fountains and back yard views:
One thing Rosemow asked for was “dancing”. So I made her a “Dancing Pavillion”. Inside is the
“Stiff as a Board, Light as a Feather” dancefloor from the store. (If you do not have this, substitute the in-game dance floor):
A little view of the water feature viewed from the Dancing Pavilion:
The children’s play yard with “Teddy Bear Picnic “ is a secluded little nook in the yard:
The left side of the house with conservatory and trellised side porch:
Before we go inside, I’ll show you the floor plan of the interior. This is the first floor:
The second floor:
The attic:
Coming into the home, here is the foyer with built-in seating nook and closet:
The two story conservatory:
The Library:
The large formal living room with fireplace and built in bookshelves and window seats:
The eat-in kitchen is large and homey and quaint. It leads out the the formal garden too:
The opposite view from the kitchen looking into the living room:
The formal dining room:
The guest room:
Not shown on the first floor is a full bath that is across from the guest room, a laundry room leading in from the garage and powder room near the conservatory and library.
Upstairs on the second level we see the music room that is open with the conservatory below…for playing music and having it carry through the house:
There is a very large master bedroom suite with a balcony and seating area:
The bed area of the master suite:
And a peek into the Master bathroom with lovely closet and dressing area:
The Teddy Bear Nursery…for boys or girls:
A large little girl’s room:
The tea party area of the little girl’s room:
Her little vanity in her bathroom:
A little boy’s room- pirate themed. (Has an adjoining bathroom too- not shown)
And a special treat for all the children…a little playroom all to themselves nestled under the stairs:
There was space in the attic, so I made a family room for everyone to enjoy watching movies together, or for enjoying the writing desk in the turret:
And there is another large room and bathroom in the attic. The large room I staged as an artist’s room, but this could be another bedroom, and exercise room, a skill room, or whatever you like or need for your own game. There is a balcony leading off it as well.
I hope that Rosemow (and you) have many happy, restful, lovely adventures here in this dreamy cottage.
Rosemow’s Rest:
Rosemow….All my love, went into building this for you…For every gracious, thoughtful, lovely, encouraging minute you have spent on all of us in the CCforum, writing the most beautiful and uplifting posts on all of our works. You are a well loved lady, here, I want you to know, and I know we all are so thankful for you and your time and your generous nature. I hope you enjoy exploring this house, and find a restful home here, filled with happiness, loveliness, dancing, and pretty things to look at everywhere. And Teddy bears. Lots of Teddy bears!
All my love, with my deepest regards and my thanks for every blessed word you have ever written to me, and to all of us….
Taryn
