I have tried 4 times to send a message along with the pictures of the house I remodeled from the practice lot. Each time I get the error code 404. Messages were also sent to ZooProfessor3 and Ruthless__kk to let the two of you know that I did create something.
As I mentioned I do have pictures, 5, on My SimPage. I would great if someone were take a look them and let me know if I passing grade for the assignment.
Thank you.
Hi! I will go to your SimPage to see if I can see your work. I don't know why you are getting error messages when you tried to post your pictures to this thread. No one else has mentioned having problems, but that doesn't mean that no one else is having them.
There is no "pass" or "fail" here, by the way. Everyone who gets something helpful to them from the class gets an A as far as I am concerned, BUT if you want feedback on your work I would be happy to give it to you (and I know Ruthy will as well).
As per your other post, I will register you for the next lesson (this Saturday) and Welcome Back to Zoo U!

I'm having issues posting here too, but anyways I tried to quote this message and it went through fine.( but I couldn't make a new post).
I have a quick question about roofing about one of my homes for Ruth:
May I ask a quick question, even though I didn't register?
I am building a new house and its almost finished, and I'm stuck on this one roof part on the right.
I don't know how to fix it, I really don't want to add out the the front because it would mess up the floor plan inside, and it would make the rooms un balanced. Would you Ruth know how to fix the right side of the roof by the porch, or is it not that noticeable to just keep it as it is?
I hope she sees this.
I saw it! :D
I have been having problems posting today...as are others from what I hear.
So....on to your issue. Yes..you can leave that part biting in if you want. My personal opinon is that I try to not do that if at all possible. But then..I am a neat freak and I like clean lines if I can get them...so that means I notice it. But others might not. Are you SURE you cant bring out the front wall one square? Cause that is the fastest and easiest way to solve this issue of the roof biting into the wall:

It neatens it all up nicely. But...if you really dont want to do that, we can try to disguise that part with vegetation or a "design element" because the roof will always bite in like that. We cant change how the roof behaves. Here are some "disguise it" options:

Personally, I am not a fan of either of those but they ARE options.
The best "dont-change-the-floorplan" solution I can come up with for your issue is to make the roof in that section out of the straight awnings. Color it the same as the roofing and it kind of looks like the straight roof only smaller...so you dont get that bite in:

Those are the options I came up with....anyone else have some ideas to add? :D
