Yes, there is. I don't quite remember exactly what it is though, but they've at least increased it since they opened the new forums. It cause me a lot of headaches at the beginning- I was unable to edit the main post for The Goddess' Order because it had thousands more words than what was allowed. Even after they bumped up the limit the post was still too long. I had to reduce me entire downloads section to one link to the downloads section on my blog in order to be able to edit the update date in the title.

I wouldn't think there would be a limit to posts per thread.
