This collaboration was hosted by soocoolsim and the world was created by Hidehi2 (layout of the world was based on the official Disney Magic Kingdom maps). 13 creators from the Sims 3 community participated in this collab from Oct 2021 through May 2023, contributing many themed residential and commercial builds. This post features all of the builds I created and happens to be one of my favorite collaborations I've built for. ENJOY! 😀
***Builds are listed in descending chronological order.***
Want to live in an open air raft style home on the water? Then this houseboat is just for you. It's a bit rustic, but contains everything one (or two) needs to live and even has some modern amenities. The center of the raft has a covered galley kitchen, a bunk bed that is tucked in on the other side of the kitchen and a bathroom in the hull. Built for Frontierland and best if placed at Tom's Landing dock in Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Tom's Landing is a port located at Tom Sawyer's Island and offers multiple activities. You can play some games (shuffleboard, gnubbs, chess and darts), fish at the end of the pier, grill a hot dog or grab a snack or beverage. There are some grassy areas with picnic tables and a small play area for the kiddies. Public restrooms are provided in the back of the building. Built for Frontierland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Stop by the Village Market in Fantasyland to purchase your produce and grab a bite to eat. Afterwards, head upstairs to the bar for a drink and play some video games. Public restrooms provided. Built for Fantasyland at 83 Fantasyland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Her Teapot House from the Disney movies has been transformed into a sim-sized version and perfect for a single fairy sim. It's filled with lots of "stuff" inside because as you know Tinker Bell likes to collect things and tinker. Outdoors has lots of forest foliage, a small pond, a fairy house, a washer and a clothesline. House structure by soocoolsim; decor and landscaping by me. Built for Fantasyland at 27 Frontier Way, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Minnie's whimsical pink and lavender bungalow is decorated in a hearts and flowers theme. Her eclectic living room is cozy with lots of books and a fireplace; the eat-in kitchen is quirky, bright and cheery with a window looking into the attached sunroom. There's also a craft room and laundry room. The backyard has a flower garden, a gazebo and play things for her cat. Built for Fantasyland at 106 Fantasyland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Although this colorful and charming two-story house flies away in the Disney movie 'UP', this Sims version is guaranteed to stay put (despite the rooftop balloon decor). It features a large foyer, a cozy living room with fireplace, a den, a dining area, a cute kitchen, a powder room, a master bedroom, a nursery bedroom and a full bath. Built for the Bay Lake area at 26 Wilderness Trail, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Want to live in a fun house inspired by Mickey Mouse? Then this is the place for you with bright colors, cozy furniture, funky wall art, a whimsical kitchen, a game room, a workshop garage and a garden. There's even a dog house and a comfy bed for Pluto. Built Fantasyland at 142 Fantasyland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
This boat dock is located directly across the street from the Contemporary Resort Hotel in the Bay Lake District of Magic Kingdom, located at 196 World Dr. You can fish at the end of the pier and there is a small play area for the kids. It docks a few small boats and my houseboat called The Zephyr (see below). Built for the Bay Lake area in Disney's Magic Kingdom.
The Zephyr is a modern style houseboat decorated in a calming color palette consisting of 4 decks with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a den, a laundry room and an outdoor entertainment deck that includes a hot tub. The deck with the master has expansive window views and below deck has the bunk cabin, laundry, bath, and a den. Built for the Bay Lake area in Disney's Magic Kingdom.
This tiny house plan with a modern farmhouse vibe is simple, yet stylish and gives you all you need in a compact space -- hangout space open to the kitchen, a loft bedroom, a full bath with closet and a laundry room. A covered porch on the side gives you room to grill or sit and enjoy the fresh air. In the back, you can enjoy the small pool with views of the sea. Built for the Bay Lake area at 22 Frontier Way, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
This is another collaboration build for Disney's Magic Kingdom world between @Hidehi and myself. Hidehi built this fabulous building shell and I did the interior design. The former arcade and gift shop section of Main Street's Emporium was converted into an apartment complex consisting of three attached but separate apartment buildings, each with their own lobby, laundry and bike storage. There are a total of seven furnished apartments to choose from (4 one bedrooms and 3 studios) and 3 NPC apartments. A shared mailbox for all residents is located outside the middle apartment building. Tenants can share the outdoor BBQ's and ping pong table located in the back. Each apartment has a unique layout and is furnished in either neutral decor for single or couple sims or a decor more specifically suited for a male or female. Which one will choose? Built for Main Street at 33 Main Street, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
If you dare, blast off into the inky blackness of outer space on this roller-coaster ride in the dark. Look out for fighter jets, streaking orbs of light, shooting stars, wayward comets and migrant meteors. After your journey, be sure to check out our full snack bar to satisfy your hunger and our galactic game room for some arcade fun. Everything is upgraded. Inspired by Space Mountain in Disney's Magic Kingdom. Thank you to soocoolsim for creating the amazing shell design so that I could do the layout, decor and landscaping.
soocoolsimbuilt this house shell for the Bay Lake District and I did the landscaping and interior decor.
It's a two-story family home with a contemporary flair and a neutral color scheme with pops of dark blue throughout. There is a staircase that sits in the center of the house separating the main living areas (living room/sitting room on one side and dining room, kitchen and laundry on the other). There's convenient access to the outside from both sides of the house -- to the back and to the pool area. Upstairs is a computer nook along with an ensuite master, two kids' bedrooms, and a main bathroom. There's a pool with a slide, a kids' slip 'n slide, a bbq and outdoor seating. There's a small play area in front in the grassy area.
This contemporary A-frame house has cedar siding, a metal roof and a side entry introducing you to an open layout. You'll be greeted by a large kitchen and be warmed by a fireplace that's flanked by built-in cabinets. There's 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, an upstairs loft and add'l access outside in the front and back, plus a hot tub. Built for the Bay Lake District at 38 Wilderness Trail, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Have a knee-slappin? good time with the jolly bears at this country-and-western themed Karaoke bar. We have two levels consisting of two bars, a karaoke stage, dance floor, juke boxes, DJ booth, bronco bull riding, pool tables, skee ball, foosball, arcade machines, darts and a photo booth. Built for Frontierland at 20 Frontierland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Come visit this pirate themed gym in a tropical jungle setting for the ultimate gym experience that will serve all of your fitness needs. Besides a full gym (including training dummies), there are restrooms and showers, a yoga studio with dance bars, a massage room, an Olympic sized swimming pool, a small waterfall pool, an outdoor self-service bar, and a courtyard with vending machines and tables. In a separate building you'll find a basketball court with two hoops and more restrooms. If you follow the path under the big rock you can test your strength with additional pull up bars and two rock climbing walls. Afterwards enjoy the two hot tubs and refreshing waterfalls tucked behind the rocks. Built for Adventureland at 21 Adventureland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Another addition to Magic Kingdom's Fantasyland -- A small stone castle that's just the right size for a princess (or a princess and her prince). Features a turret with staircases and 3 floors of space with one bedroom and 1-1/2 baths. Although the home has rustic architecture, it's updated inside with elegant interiors. Main floor (middle level) consists of the open living/dining/kitchen area, plus a fireplace and a powder room. The ground floor has a garage in the back, a family room and a laundry room. The top floor features the master suite and a study and access to the 4th floor balcony (to take in the beautiful views of Magic Kingdom). Outdoors you will find a covered hot tub, a koi pond and 4 outdoor balconies. Built for Fantasyland at 76 Fantasyland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
"I'm late, I'm late! For a very important date!"
"Why is a raven like a writing desk?"
"That's enough! Off with their heads!!!"
"Most everyone's mad here."
"When I get home I shall write a book about this place."
"Curiouser and curiouser!"
Why is Alice so obsessed with these thoughts that keep popping into her head? Although she is all grown up now, she is still preoccupied with a dream she had when she was 7 years old. She remembers that she had fallen asleep in a meadow and had a very imaginative dream where she followed a white rabbit into a hole and found herself in a fantasy wonderland where she met various peculiar characters. Every room in this whimsical themed 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is designed from memories of her wonderland adventure. Features a garden/forest themed bedroom, an elegant white rabbit themed living room, a mad hatter tea party dining room, a clock room with easel, teacup chairs and a staircase to the basement, a key themed multi-purpose space, themed kids' bedrooms, a queen of hearts family room and a hallway of locked doors that lead to stairs to the outside. Built for Fantasyland at 98 Fantasyland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
You can find my sim Alice under my Sims Creations page.
A beautiful entrance dock to Disney's Magic Kingdom World, located near Main Street. The port is meant to dock a boat but you can also hang out on this beautiful pier filled with flower planters, lots of seating, a dance stage, snack machines, a refreshing fountain, chess tables, bbq's, a self-service bar and public restrooms.
(I obviously took some liberty with this lot since the real dock in MK is just a ferry dock bringing guests to Disney World, so it was pretty plain. Had to jazz it up a little bit, lol.)
Another ultra modern home for a family in Tomorrowland, featuring 2 levels with the main floor consisting of an open concept living/kitchen/dining area (with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace in the living room), the primary suite, a laundry room and half bath. Upstairs is a loft style family room that's open to the floor below, two kids' bedrooms and a full bathroom. Outdoors is a parking space, a pool, a patio with a bbq and dining set and a kid's sandbox play area. Built for Tomorrowland at 29 Tomorrowland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Visit this colorful vintage style ice cream parlor on Main Street, where you can order food at the counter or head straight to the self-service counter and make your own ice cream cones, snow cones, or hot drinks. We also have separate snow cone and cotton candy machines. There's plenty of indoor seating and public restrooms. This was a collaboration between myself and soocoolsim . She built the beautiful shell building and I decorated it. Built for Main Street at 222 Main Street, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
This small ultra modern home was built for Tomorrowland. It has a futuristic vibe and feels larger than it is with all the light it has to offer. The entire great room, kitchen, and dining area has taller ceilings with clerestory windows on all four sides.
There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms (a master and a child's bedroom) on either side of the central living space. Additional space is found in the basement via a spiral staircase that features a 3rd bedroom (teen or guest room and can be redecorated to your liking) a full bath, a game room, a TV room, a gym and a sauna.
Outside are two patios, a hot tub, a black bottom pool and a small kids' play area. As always, everything is upgraded. 113 Tomorrowland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
This princess-themed bookstore is inspired by Magic Kingdom's Princess Fairytale Hall, and has all your book needs. We have many bookshelves to browse through and an enchanting royal reading room. Or you can buy or sell books or perhaps apply for a bookstore clerk job. There are public restrooms for your convenience located near the basement stores. (Bookstore rabbit hole is located in the basement). Built for Fantasyland at 29 Fantasyland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
In the late 1800s, gold was discovered in these sacred mountains and overnight grew into the town of Tumbleweed. Unfortunately, a flash flood destroyed the gold mining town so was abandoned and is known to be haunted. A roller coaster is now built around these mountains so you can take a thrilling ride through these mountains into water, loops and curves. Did you see a skeleton or two? If you dare, you can also visit the underground haunted mine shaft; just follow the signs behind the building next to the graveyard. We have public restrooms, a few games to play, a photo booth and there are several food options outdoors where you can order food or use the self-serve grills and pizza oven. Don't forget to try your skill on the Bucking Bronco. Built for Frontierland at 46 Frontierland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Princess Merida of DunBroch (Scottish Princess from the Disney movie "Brave"), welcomes you to her medeival archery center. Just follow the path around to the back and you'll find the target dummies. You can also practice your martial arts skills or improve your painting skills. For additional fun you can play dominoes, chess, and gnubbs. For your convenience, there are restrooms just inside the arch leading to the stairs and also below ground where the training dummies and gnubbs game are located. Built for Fantasyland at 69 Fantasyland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
If you like a casual home with woods, bamboo, rattan and wicker, then you may like this house. Perfect for a group of friends, roommates or a family with older kids. This home has a large screened-in breezeway section that separates the main portion (living, kitchen, master, 1/2 bath & laundry) on one side and the other two bedrooms with a shared Jack 'n Jill bath on the other side. The breezeway is a gathering place with another TV, video games, a bookshelf and a computer desk. Besides the main entry porch, there are porches on both ends of the breezeway. Out back is a bbq, dining table and a small garden. Built for Adventureland at 10 Adventureland, Disney's Magic Kingdom.
Decorated in a nautical color scheme, this houseboat has room for a family of 3 or 4 with 2 sleeping cabins (master cabin is below deck and the kids' bunk room is on the main deck). It has an open galley kitchen/dining and living area, plus 2 compact bathrooms and a party deck. Can be added to any port.
This riverboat used to transport guests from the dock to the Jungle River Cruise but has since been converted into a nice little houseboat for one or two sims to live and drift around the scenic Jungle River. The Main deck features a casual galley and lounge (complete with portholes), a small study and a compact bathroom. A BBQ and dining area are at the bow of the boat outside. Deck 2 consists of the sleeping cabin and bathroom which is accessible from inside the main deck via a ladder or at the stern outside via stairs. This deck has a nice outside deck to relax on. Deck 3 is open and covered and contains the helm, a telescope, chess, a stereo and comfy seating. Can be added to any port.
Inspired by the dock where Disney guests board the Jungle Cruise Boats, this port features a small store, a place to purchase your own boat and public restrooms. The store has stuff to buy, or you can order food or grab a book to read. Outside are places to sit, grab some popcorn or look through the telescope. You can dock a private houseboat at the end of the pier. Built for Adventureland.
Poolside bar overlooking the sea, inspired by Magic Kingdom's Grand Floridian beach bar. We're open from 5pm to 4am with 3 bars (swim-up pool bar, patio bar and indoor club bar). Dance anywhere as we have music outside and indoors with plenty of places to sit and relax. Our large pool has cascading waterfalls under the bridge, a slide and diving board. Built for the Bay Lake District.
A Colonial style hangout for the locals, which was inspired by a restaurant in Magic Kingdom's Liberty Square - Liberty Tree Tavern. Send your simmies here for a fun place to get a drink, have something to eat, dance, sing karaoke or play games. Downstairs features the bar, dance floor, karaoke and the card room (where you can play poker or blackjack). There are also restrooms on this level. Upstairs there's more fun - with a pool table, darts, foosball and a few arcade games. Built for Liberty Square.
Visit this lot in Fantasyland to sharpen your archery skills and play some gnubbs in the open air lower level of this medieval style building. You can partake in other games upstairs -- like darts, dominoes, shuffleboard, ping pong or billiards. Satisfy your hunger at our outdoor food service counter or use the self-service pizza oven or grill. We offer plenty of outdoor seating and for your convenience, there are restrooms located on the upper level. Built for Fantasyland.
Come hang out with your fellow nerds at this western themed nerd shop and snack bar. You can play arcade games, computer games, video games and peruse our large selection of comics & books. When you get hungry or need a caffeine fix, visit our counter service snack bar out front. Outdoor seating, restrooms, popcorn, snow cone and vending machines. Inspired by Frontierland's Westward Ho Refreshments (inspiration pics below). Since the real Westward Ho backs up to the waters surrounding Tom Sawyer Island, I decided to build this lot over a pond.
Book your romantic wedding ceremony and reception at this beautiful Polynesian styled wedding venue. Intimate ceremonies are held outdoors for afternoons or evening sunsets. Afterwards head inside to party at your reception with buffet style food, bar drinks and dancing. We also have additional dining on the outdoor patio. Inspired by the "Enchanted Tiki Room". This was a collaboration build -- soocoolsim built the shell and did the beautiful landscaping and I did all the decorating.
This small secluded cottage has a bright Caribbean exterior and was named after the tropical persimmon fruit. It's all about the outdoor living in this home, featuring a wrap-around porch with beautiful jungle river views. There's a grill and dining table on one side and chess and seating on the other sides. Out back you can hit some golf balls into the river, relax in the rocking chairs under the umbrella and rinse off in the outdoor shower after a swim. Inside is just as colorful with a cozy living room, kitchen and bathroom on the bottom level and a loft bedroom and den above. Built for Adventureland.
Miramar (meaning "sea view") is a small home located on a private lush lot in Adventureland. You'll find a staircase at ground level leading up to the raised main level, which features 2 bedrooms (master and nursery), 2 bathrooms and a combination great room/kitchen that opens up to the lanai and has a colorful Caribbean decor. The great room includes a fireplace and built-ins and has a well equipped kitchen that features breakfast bar seating. The lanai has outdoor dining space, a grill and a staircase.
The ground level below consists of bike storage, a half bath with a washer, a play area, a clothesline, another staircase and a secluded hot tub.
An American Old West style apartment complex with three NPC apartments and three furnished apartments to choose from -- a studio, a 1 bedroom or a 2 bedroom, each with a different color scheme. Inspired by the Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn Restaurant in Frontierland and converted into residential space.
The studio apartment is conveniently located on the main floor, just off the lobby. The one bedroom apartment has one bath and a small balcony and has a separate outdoor entrance across from one of the community balcony spaces. The two bedroom is the largest and has two bathrooms, a small balcony and is located on the top floor just off the game room. (The 2nd bedroom is furnished as a den but can be easily changed to a bedroom.)
Amenities: Lobby with fountain and mailboxes, a gym, laundry facilities, outdoor BBQ's, a game room with pool table and community balcony spaces.
Note: The lot is designated as a regular residential lot but can be changed to the apartment lot assignment if you choose to have roommates and pay rent instead. If you want to decorate your own apartment, just switch the "hidden markers" around.
A fun and colorful place to do your laundry while visiting Main Street, featuring 5 washers and dryers, a laundry sink, folding tables and public restrooms. While you're waiting on your laundry, relax in our comfortable seating area and grab a book, a snack or drink and don't forget to try our popcorn.
Located in Town Square (the entrance to Magic Kingdom's Main Street), this is the first house you come to on the east side, right after you pass the Railroad Station. From the gallery porches, you'll have great views of the hustle and bustle of Town Square and the parade just across the street. The 2 bedroom+den home has an open concept main floor area plus a den (which can be used as a 3rd bedroom if needed), a bathroom and a laundry. On the 2nd floor there is a small landing space that overlooks the floor below, along with two bedrooms and 2 baths (a master suite and a child's bedroom that is furnished as a little girl's room but can easily be redecorated for your family's needs). The small back yard has a grilling porch, dinette set, play area, a few garden pots and a fire pit.
This junior roller coaster starts out in the loft of an old barn and meanders through an abandoned farm. There are slight turns and slight drops but hope you're not afraid of heights as our coaster does climb to a height of 30 feet. Just the place to visit if you have a fear of riding those big roller coasters with "deadman's drop" and all those loop-de-loops.
Afterwards, go downstairs in the barn and visit our snack bar or make your own pizza. You can also grill hot dogs, get your face painted, take some photos, visit the kissing booths or join a pie eating contest. Built for Fantasyland.
This bowling alley is inspired by a restaurant in Tomorrowland (Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe).
Should be a fun place for your simmies to hang out. Besides bowling, you can play pool, arcade games, shuffle board, ping pong, skee ball, basketball, darts, and video games. When you're hungry, head over to the snack bar or grab a drink at the bar. There's plenty of seating inside and out and public restrooms located near the snack bar.
This rustic log home is modernized with all the necessary comforts and features a fireplace that expands two floors. It divides the living room, kitchen and dining room and is the focal point of the main floor. Flanked on both sides of these rooms are the 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a laundry room. Upstairs is a spacious loft for family activities that overlooks the floor below and features great views. Out back you'll find a nice sized bbq porch, a place for chickens, a place for the kiddies to play and a small garden. This lot had no room for horse stalls but has touches of horse decor and a western theme throughout. No worries though, there's a great horse ranch across the road, yippee ki yay and yeehaw! Built for Frontierland.
Inspired by Magic Kingdom's "Aunt Polly's Dockside Inn" on Tom Sawyer Island (which actually is a restaurant that serves take-out food), but transformed into a residential home for this world.
It features 3 bedrooms, 2-1/2 bathrooms and an attic used as a family multi-purpose area. The main floor has a colorful kitchen that's open to the dining area and living room with fireplace, along with a half bath and laundry room. There's lots to do on the expansive decks with a bbq, dining table, telescope, rockers, darts, a hopscotch carpet and a gazebo area with a bar, stereo, and chess. The lake is fully stocked and has a small dock to fish on. Also in the backyard is a play area and a fire pit. Built for Frontierland.
A small Colonial family home for the Liberty Square area. It features 2 bedrooms and 1-1/2 baths and consists of a separate living room with fireplace, a separate dining room that's open to the kitchen, and a multipurpose area on the 2nd floor landing. Backyard is very small due to the lot size but it has a porch with a bbq, a patio table in the yard along with some garden pots. Built for Liberty Square.
Here's a charmingly old-fashioned salon shop where customers can get a spiffy makeover or get that tattoo they've been dreaming of. Just look for the classic striped barber pole on Main Street and head inside to experience a bygone era with the shop’s quaint interiors and the pleasant banter of the stylists. Built for Main Street.
Feeling hungry while visiting Liberty Square? Stop by the Columbia Harbour House seafood restaurant and reel in some delicious seafood, New England-inspired favorites and more -- as you dine in a cozy, seafaring setting. Order from the counter for faster service or take a seat and a waiter will take your order from our extensive menu. We also have a full-service bar, a cozy fireplace on the 2nd floor and public restrooms. Built for Liberty Square.
Tony's is located on Main Street (right next to the theater) and offers self-serve pizza and a large variety of Italian lunch and dinner dishes from the menu. Don't know where to sit? We have three dining options which includes the main restaurant, the sunroom dining room for a more casual meal or alfresco dining on the patio. Built for Main Street
Town Square Theater is located in Main Street right next to Tony's Town Square Restaurant. It is THE place to come for your entertainment desires . You can watch a movie or play (we have many genres to choose from), attend a concert, take music classes, get a job in the music career, or simply tour the place for fun. Hungry? We have a wide selection of snacks at our concession stand counters with a few arcade games and and a relaxing patio with a fountain to eat at. There's even a bonus room for you to do with what you want - maybe a game room? Just needs a door.
This unique 5-star resort features contemporary furnishings decorated in fun colors with a roller coaster running through the 2nd floor (modeled after the real resort in Disney's Magic Kingdom that had a monorail). This was built for the Bay Lake District of the Magic Kingdom World (Map 13, Lot #174,167 World Drive).
The hotel has an occupancy of 166 guests with accommodations in 13 VIP guest rooms (12 rooms and one 2-bedroom suite) and two resort towers. Each floor overlooks the floors below with a view of the roller coaster. Besides the interior amenities listed below, the grounds consist of three hot tubs, two pools (a fun pool with waterfalls, slide and diving board and a smaller, quieter pool for the adults), a splash pad with slip n slide, pool bar, three fire walks, and two golf driving ranges.
[Note: I was lucky to do this collaboration built with soocoolsim , who is so creative with her CFE work and was kind enough to build this complicated and unique shell for me - thank you Paula!!]
Inspired by the castle featured in Disney's Magic Kingdom, this impressive property is surrounded by a tranquil moat and beautiful grounds and features multiple balconies on 3 of the 4 levels. Almost every room comes with a fireplace and everything is upgraded.
First floor features a long corridor that leads from front to back accessing a beautiful ballroom, an entrance to the home on the 2nd floor and a sparkling indoor pool.
The 2nd floor consists of a formal living room, a formal dining room, a kitchen and a powder room.
The 3rd floor is where the two other ensuite bedrooms are located, plus a study and a laundry room.
The top level is all for Cinderella - a spacious bedroom with living area, a large ensuite bath and a separate massage room.
(This was a joint effort by the talented @romagi1, who built the castle for Fantasyland, and myself, who did the landscaping and decorating.)
Climb aboard the Prince Charming Regal Carrousel and take a whimsical journey on one of our wood-carved ornate horses or wild animals. You'll be wowed by our wondrous colors and calliope music. Built for Fantasyland.
