You have to put in the details for your graphics card, the Intel HD 6000, not Intel Iris.
You are changing a game file, not a system file so no, it won't screw up your Mac. Just make sure you follow the instructions and make a copy of the GraphicsCards.sgr and GraphicsRules.sgr files so if you do make a mistake you can just put them back, replacing your changes.
