Definitively I agree. There are still Simmers playing The Sims 3 and not everyone is willing to play The Sims 4 which isn't helped that some Simmers dislike The Sims 4 (and also FreePlay) considering that TS4 is a better Mac game than TS3.
The Sims 3 in its defense is a good game with a lot of content on Windows and OS X but it flawed: the game is known for lagging regardless of computer specs (either Mac or Windows), The Sims 3 takes a long time to load which is more apparent in Create a Sim where it tends to lag a lot due to the game loading all Clothes, some towns (China, Bridgeport, Isla Paraidso) are impossible to play due to lag, the game has several bugs (check the
complied list of bugs) most notably the Opportunity bug for Into the Future users where it's impossible to get Skill Opportunities due to a mistake from EA.
And because of the fact EA doesn't have plans to update The Sims 3 means that the Mac issues won't be fixed. TS3 is the only Sims game that doesn't work correctly on newer Macs; The Sims 2 (though the Super Collection was made by Aspyr, not EA) and The Sims 4 both support newer Graphics whereas TS3 hasn't.
