Adoption basket still there
One of my families adopted a baby ages ago, said baby is now a child. The basket they came in is still in the hallway of the house, and it won’t disappear! I don’t adopt babies often in this game so...

I know you have it solved now, but another option I use for stuck items is clicking on them with Debug Enabler and choosing "put in family inventory". Then I go to the family inventory and choose sell all.
