After school activities not working

Question

Hi GuysI have all of the expansions except showtime and all of the stuff packs. No mods, nothing unusual at all.My Children will not attend after school activities. I have signed them up to scouts and ballet at different times, but they will go to neither. I have tried manually selecting that they go while they are in class, no luck. I have manually chosen for them to go when they first finish class, it says something like cannot attend unless you are in class.Any ideas?CK :)

Did they go on a field trip recently? There's a bug where after the field trip, it doesn't reset and the game permanently thinks they are on a field trip thus excuses them from the activities and they won't go. :?

I don't let my sim children or teens go on field trips anymore if I want them to have an afterschool activity, unless they're very close to aging up. :(

Ah that explains it - Yes they have been on 2 fields trips so far. I will keep that in mind for when they are teens and not let them go :) Thanks!

It's a little bit disappointing that they can't seem to do both and I wish they would fix it.   :?   However, this method does work as a workaround.  :)

im exactly the same, only its never done it before until now, and my teen still has aaaages til it grows up, is there anyway to reset it?
