It depends. sometimes I throw huge elaborate weddings (that always fail and drive me crazy because guests do not know how to co-operate at weddings!!!) or sometimes they just have a few friends or just family there. I do have a private wedding with just those two sims sometimes, and then throw a party afterwards for friends and family.
