Any good photo album style program for Sims 3 screenshots? How do you organize screenshots?

Hi, all!

Does anybody know of a good and free photo album style program for Sims 3 screenshots? I want only basic functions: to separate pictures from different families, to add descriptions to pictures and to organize the timeline.

The Sims 1 had that feature of generating html pages for each family and that was great, but Sims 3 just throws all screenshots in one folder and that's it. Currently, I separate screenshots in folders for different families and add descriptions for the pictures as file names, but the size of the file names (therefore the descriptions) is very limited.

So, how do you organize screenshots? Any software you recommend?

Photobucket has a nice and easy system to arrange pictures, I think.

Photobucket however makes you pay a huge amount of money if you want to share your pictures.

No. I pay nothing and all my pictures are public.

Have they changed their policy again then? There was quite an outrage two years ago.
  • Now you can share the photos, but non-pay accounts' photos will be accompanied by an absurdly large photobucket watermark.

Thanks for that information, I’m really glad about that. I have thousands of screenshots in stories on my Weebly account that would have become worthless. I did notice they weren’t gone yet (I used to have a paid account there (Photobucket), €40 a year I believe it was) so I didn’t get the treatment all those people did with free accounts, but I feared that could be over any moment. I don’t mind the watermark as long as I can see my pics.
  • @JoAnne65 - As a photographer, I hate watermarks...though I have to use one to protect my images and I'd hate having one obscure my Sims screencaps.

As you can see, I use one, but it's off to the corner and unobstrusive for my "sports photography"

God, I miss shooting...hopefully I can get back to it, one of these days, provided my health lets me.
  • @Keiomestre I also prefer Libre Office to Microsoft Office. Perhaps the presentation idea would work if you concentrated in less information or have many for several situations.

Perhaps you can visit all those sites and see how they behave. I hate when my photos can't be sorted by name and that's why I left Google Photos.

Oh I agree and your watermark definitely looks a lot more sympathic than those watermarks that completely cover photos (though I do understand why photographers do that to protect their work). It’s rather a case of no picture at all...

... or one with the watermark. In that case I prefer the watermarked one. Also because it will be easier that way to repair those stories one day (if I have time and feel like it ;)). Great picture by the way!
  • @Emily4331 I use Imgur to upload photos I share here on the forum. I've never used their album feature.

@thuggishsplicer Maybe I will give presentations another try. The presentations do look good, it's just slow to make them.

Everybody else, thanks for the suggestions! I'm looking at the options you posted.
