Full Moon scenario zombies are regular sims, whether they be town residents or homeless NPCs, who are suffering from a temporary condition brought about by the lunar phase. Testingcheats shift-click deleting them only deletes their bodies (zombified or otherwise), but the sim data remains in the game and this can certainly lead to corruption if/when that sim is called upon for something else.
No sims of any kind should be shift-click deleted unless, as said, the player has no intention of saving that game session and playing it forward such as when one might only be setting up poses and scenes for screenshots but not really playing the game.
