@MMitchell93 If you have supernatural and a skilled witch it isn't much of an issue. My Sim's mother is a max level witch so if my sims die I can just have her come resurrect them. I think there is another high level witch in my town but I can't remember who she is.
In my last game I had to have my sim resurrect a party guest (I had a vampire die unexpectedly at my evening pool party, still no idea what did him in).
Also, you could enable all illnesses but those ones. If I recall there are only 2 lethal diseases. The diseases I mentioned in my post is Llama pox, and it isn't fatal as far as I know.
