Anyone elses game weird when switching families?

I am a generational player, so have a main family I mostly play but sometimes I do switch to set up siblings who marry and leave home, or occasionally set up future intended spouses for a story I hav...

    @Cazamelia81  I don't use cakes for toddlers, but I have noticed that a specific sim will take the baby or toddler out of the crib when they're ready to age up.  It seems like it's usually the one with the highest relationship, but maybe the game is choosing for other reasons.  Regardless, I wouldn't worry about it as long as the age up process is fine.

    The lifetime wish issue is strange, for sure, but it doesn't necessarily mean there's anything wrong with your save.  You can always change the LTW to something else with MC; that shouldn't do any harm as long as the wish is valid (i.e. the wish is from content you have installed).

    Crashing can be difficult to pinpoint if there's no pattern to it, but much easier when it happens with some predictability.  For example, a crash at the same sim-time of day might be an inactive sim spinning into a corrupt work outfit, since they'd be pushed to go to work at that exact time.  Let me know if you can find any patterns, that is if it comes back.

@Cazamelia81  What mods do you use, if any?  I'm wondering whether some of this at least is mod-related.  I don't see any of this myself, but then I always to an NRaas MasterController town reset after switching households.

I do see sim children roll lifetime wishes, but they never get assigned on their own.  LTWs have specific triggers, many of which children can accomplish, although few triggers are 100% effective.  Some examples:

reach level 7 of a skill -> Renaissance Sim

discover a star -> Astronaut

eat a perfect meal -> Culinary Librarian or Five Star Chef

sibling born in house -> World Renowned Surgeon

Hi, I only use nraas mods and then only Overwatch, Errortrap, Travler, and MasterController which is used spaingly as I worry about messing with the game too much. I did reset the town shortly before switching back to them to try and stop the crashing with the other family family every 3 sim days (it didn't help)  but didn't think to reset after as I'd recently done it.  Resetting just the two affected sims seemed to cure the stuck energy bars but scratching my head about the lifetime wish thing, have played for a few hours and no more crashing now back with my main family.

This family is weird with birthdays too, if I use the cake for a baby or toddler age up, its never the sim I;ve asked to take the baby/toddler to the cake, they ignore me, but another sim always responds to the command instead, for example I directed the father to take his toddler son to the cake, but the grandmother who lives with them did it instead?  Only happens with birthdays....
