Need Some Honest Feedback...
Hello Everyone, Well, just recently I began to reinstall the Sims 3 after having been playing around with the Sims 4 for the past 5 or so years. But with the recent problems with that game, I decided to dust off my Sims 3 and got it all set up to play on my PC. Now, the question is... I love a lot of the content that is in the Sims 3 Store. Back in the day of the Sims 3 era, I was so eternally grateful to the short ad clips we could opt to watch to help us accumulate store points to purchase items/sets/Compilations... so I easily became a Sims 3 store junkie buying up a ton of their content over time. Coming back to it after all these years, I see there are still some sets I would just love to have but are not yet completed in my purchasing. I would love to buy them now... but... is it "safe" to do so? The game is nearly 17 years old now. With a questionable future of EA and the game being so old, I would be heartbroken to invest in more content only to learn EA might put the ax to this game. I know this is always a risk with any game... but to buy stuff so late into this stage of the game's history... is it safe to purchase more... or will I be basically throwing my money away on something that may soon come to a close?Solved115Views0likes3CommentsSims 3 keeps freezing randomly for a few seconds (help)
Game keeps freezing every 10 secs for 5-10 seconds. The game has worked perfectly fine on my pc before, and even on my old worse laptop. I have a 3060rtx pc and 48 gigs or ram. It can run far more complex stuff then sims 3. Im not sure why this new family I started broke the game. I’ve tried reset sim, turning down graphics, refresh rate. Nothing works. It’s not like it’s lagging, it’s just freezing randomly. Anyone know what to do?45Views0likes2CommentsFunny Sims 3 screenshots
I searched the forum and found many threads of this kind, but they are quite old and some of the pictures aren't visible any more, so I thought it would be fun to start a new one. So, post your screenshots of funny glitches, hilariously appropriate or inappropriate thought clouds, townies (or the Grim Reaper) doing unexpected things ... I'll start with a few of mine: Agnes Crumplebottom bathing in the sink: What WooHoo looks like with the bed and covers removed (when I went into camera mode, the furniture just disappeared): Someone is stuck under the floor of the Sunset Valley library? Must be the Loch Ness monster! Please add yours!82KViews4likes1470CommentsTS3 Random Thoughts (ver. 22 1/2)
I know we've done SOMETHING similar to this before (several times), but it's been a LONG time ago and have been locked now. It's for those moments when your Sims make you say "Hmm" or "huh, that's a different way to look at life..." , or for those occasions when we want to comment on something game related or ask a question without having to start a new thread. Ready? here we go! Life is better, when doing it TOGETHER!198Views1like6CommentsLooking for friends

I have been playing this game since 2013 and have only had a meteor hit my active family ONCE... ...until today.... She just got married but no little sims yet! Luckily, I saved them to the bin before this happened and they're getting a redo on life in a new save 😉🤣200Views6likes6CommentsSims on the Brain -
Ok, quick! Feel for a pulse! Take your temperature! Have you been playing The Sims TOO MUCH? If you display any of these symptoms, The Sims might be in your brain! You hum the CAS, music as you go pick your clothes for tomorrow. You hum the BUY MODE music as you shop (online and/or in stores). You hum the BUILD MODE music as you build IKEA furniture (🙋) , worked in the garden (🙋) , or built a shed (not yet 😂)! You used that "Stand Off" pose, when you get mad with someone. You keep peeking in the oven, every few seconds, to see if the Waffles are done. You try to spin to change your clothes. If you know any more, go ahead and add them - no matter how outlandish. Sims can be very silly!207Views3likes6Comments
