hello everyone! I'm writing this hoping to find people who still plays ts3! i play The Sims since I was a kid and most of the time it was ts3 but I've never had any friends on my profile, so I decided to check on here if anyone is interested in becoming friends in the game :) thank youuu
Achievements
Am I going crazy? Have some achievements gone away..? I feel like some years ago at least there was an achievement called "Triple Play" for when/ if your sims get triplets, yet after running multiple households and getting multiple different sims preggo with a different male partner, finally got one that had triplets but didn't see the triple play badge... Was only disappointed cause remember years ago playing, trying to get it in a different account I had back then and never getting it-- cause I refused to bother play multiple houses... Was a hard achievement but liked it lol. And on the topic of tough achievements... What achievement do you all consider the hardest and most rewarding to earn... If any..? Anyone gotten them all? Maybe a strange topic but they add so much to the fun of Sims 3 imo lol. In my top 3 favorite features.
Attempting to rebuild an old TS3 Pets Console house
Morning all! When I was little I used to play The Sims 3 Pets on PS3 religiously, and there was always this one house I played back to back, mainly. It was an alternative house for the property at 202 Old Cedar Mill Road. I have been attempting to rebuild this house in my current Sims 3 save on PC. I was wondering if anybody still owns the console version of The Sims 3 Pets and, if you do, do you have any images of the interior / exterior of the house? I have managed to rebuild the exterior to the best of my memory but something just feels... off... and I need affirmation! Many thanks <3
I want to pick premades on who is interesting and not on the actual lore
Basically I think I should find the Wainwrights and roomies more forgettable and that i should find other sims memorable, and that when im thinking of a story with premade sims in it, i shouldnt really think in terms of them having a past before the game, i should think of them as more like archetypes or something, every version of a specific sims is canon, i want to be able to use premade sims and deage or age them up 🆙 and have them interact in ways that are different than the actual game progression and more based on who is cool and memorable, who i like the best. And I want to play it less like im going a vacation in the ideal world, i want to be able to write story where people cheat on each other and kill each other. Or at least something where not everything is picture perfect. It came to mind because i was thinking of young adult frida goth running away from the goth manor. And i was thinking of Blair presumably being a toddler then (my thought was, basically I think the altos didnt live in Sunset Valley until holly is teen? But since gunther and Mortimer also know Boyd at game start, then Frida propably knew Boyd and even starts up with shoes with the same pattern as Boyd’s jacket, but people in twinbrook have that same pattern on their beds, other twinbrooks beds have Leopard print or fluffy looking dark red or dark blue print, or plaid print. You could say Boyd gave Frida the shoes as a parting gift and even talked to Cheezeysims about that. Heck you could even say doreen caliente is also the grandmom of Susan Wainwright making Susan half cousins to zack and Zoe durwood. I even entertained Susan Wainwright adopting Daydream Ivy. So i imagined frida goth going back to SVPD and recognizing Blair, or even staying in Sunset Valley all this time!? Also Lolita Goth is ancestor to the goth and ts4 gomez through ravendancer goth?!? Who in sims 4 is a black woman?!?) then i realized why it should be Blair since there are better sims which would make such a story less boring and It wouldnt necessarily became like the actual sims 3 game start anyway.
Remaking Sims as AI
I have never forgotten any of my Sims but today I have been messing around with Chat GPT and HeyGen and trying something out. For many years I thought 'what if my Sims looked more real and could speak English?' This is a work in progress but if it works out ok I plan to do more. AI is a bit of a learning curve for me and I am quite busy a lot of the time but this could be a good way to keep in touch with my Sims from the past I need to get used to this forum as well and no idea how to share videos yet (are we still allowed to do that) so there is a youtube link at the bottom of this thread https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BoQdhmQzfMM
