Appreciating wishes

I have been amazed by how much depth these wishes can have! Make yourself comfortable, i am about to tell a story XD So, i had a sim who loved inventing, it was her favorite hobby and she had the personality trait for it. One day she started a fire while she was working, and guess what her next wish was? She wanted to sell the workbench!! That gave me great insight about how scared that made her, she wanted to give up on her favorite hobby! Really added some depth!

Share with us you favorite stories about your sims wishes!!

  • I buy all the cheap kids stuff that parents wish for and then sell it. The parents often get the wish for the same thing again. It's a nice way to rack up points. Sell the xylophone as soon as a toddler skills up and one of the parents will want it again.
  • Yeah, this is great. Now somewhere in Sim World there are warehouses filling up with used and returned Bonehildas, xylophones, and other junk that no one is going to buy unless an online/shop at home service were to introduce a factory refurb or scratch and dent sale.

You guys are killing your own economies (wait, that doesn't make sense since preserving the demand would have the opposite effect...nevermind!) and negatively affecting the fake environment one silly toy item at a time. :D
  • Once my sims wished to divorce his wife, I thought it was funny and let him, I was thinking they would get back and remarry, but it never happen. I was sorry I did that. and now I ignore them, especially if they are silly.

You can then watch them sit lonely on one side of the seesaw for hours, staring at the empty seat on the other side. I guess it's a metaphor for life.

It would only be cool if a meteor hit the other side and the kid could be found wandering in another one of your cities.
Uh, I guess there is a good reason they don't make me a game programmer ... :D

Actually that would be cool. But knowing me, I'd probably end up wanting to see the little blighter on Lunar Lakes or something like that.

Physics rule...hmmm, Every action has an equal and opposite reaction...or something like that. Now would a kid being launched from the other end of a seesaw by the impact of a meteor...reach escape velocity?

Call Tiberius Willard. My (real, not vampire food) offspring once developed a crush on Tiberius. The next time I played, before the university meet-and-greet even started, Tiberius was killed by the Murphy bed. :|
