hey!Not to sure if this should go into the technical fourm... but o well.! LOLI have a slight problem with the baby stroller, it does not really bother me to much, but I was wondering if anyone is having the same issue I do.When clicking on the stroller you have two options to either go for a stroll, or go to a community lot. When I click the community lot it works fine and goes there withought a problem.Though when I click go for a stroll.. its like my sims reset themselves. One minite my sim is holding the baby and the next its poofed onto the floor...I have had this problem since I installed the game, but like I said its not much of a fault that it ruins my game play im just curious :D lol So if anyone has a solution I would love to know about it but if you dont then no worries XD LOLthanks!

Do you have any mods installed? They might be causing them to reset like that. If you have some installed, try removing them and trying again. :-)

thank you for your reply!!Though unfortunatly I tried that already. I admit I did have ALOT of mods and I thought that maybe one was conficting with the stroller action, but even when I removed them it was still reseting D: but thanks for your help anyways :D

Have you got any other CC installed? Because I had similar problems just after I installed the game but with the sandpit, pillow fights and hopscotch. And I lost all the friendly interactions. I uninstalled every piece of CC and every mod I had and played the game without it all for a day or so. Then I slowly put my CC back and it turned out it was one little mod that caused all those problems.Hope that helps you a bit :)

oh wow. LOL! I do have...loads.. of custom content.. I think I will sort through it tommorrow.. as I am going to need longer than a night to get through it all. LOLThanks for your help! :D

Yeah, I realised then exactly how much CC I had :lol: Then I had to do my Mum's as well :shock: Good luck with it, I hope it sorts your game out. It sounds exactly like the problems I had.You don't happen to have a mod from ModtheSims that shows all the hidden skills, do you? Because that's the one I think was causing the similar problems in my game.Hope you get it working properly :mrgreen:

Sounds like you may have a mod that isn't up to date yet. Do you have any mods installed?

See this is what I don't like about mods and yet we have to have them because they fix things EA won't.

They're fine as long as the creators update them whenever there's a new EP/SP/Patch. If they don't it causes problems :( Part of the responsibility of making a mod I suppose. :-)

No mods here in my game as I uninstalled/clean reinstall. I'm playing Generations in Bridgeport. When taking baby for a stroll, baby is placed in stroller and wheeled to the edge of property; the stroller then disappears into grandma's inventory and she holds the baby. Then, the stroller reappears on the sidewalk and baby is pushed along for a short distance and disappears into inventory again. Grandma continues up the hill carrying baby and gets quite a distance from home. There seems to be no way to really route them. If you click Home, granny and baby take a taxi.

A similar problem arises when teaching a teen to drive. Teen is often stranded with the vehicle in its inventory, and has to walk home or take a cab. The adult has to walk or taxi it also. Interesting gameplay to say the least.

Who tests these games before they're released?

With the stroller, the Sims won't use the strollers going uphill or downhill. So they carry the toddlers instead.

Usually, have the Teen ask the parent to teach them to drive again, and they will carry on where they left off :-)

:(i can't even download the stroller on the sims 3 pets.I have tried and tried, but it never works! Its so annoying, can anyone help me??

I’m having the exact same problem. I tried looking for the hidden skills mod and I don’t have it. I honestly don’t know what the problem is.
