Is it true that Barnacle Bay is known to be stuttery, laggy and buggy, or is it that people just say that to cover up that they find it unpleasant for the lack of houses and interesting community lot...

I've never had problems with Barnacle Bay. I actually like it and now that you've reminded me I'm gonna go play there. The link you posted won't allow me to look at the pictures because I don't have a subscription.
Never mind. I just Googled pirate, Greek island interior design and went onto the images tab, then went to one of the sites that had a few interesting photos, which was about interior design. I've deleted it now because I figure anyone could do that search and find something along those lines themselves.
And now I've abandoned that game and restarted in Sunset Valley, since the complainers I mentioned said it was good for them, although I think that is probably a belief more than a fact, because of the nostalgia and more familiar lore, and regular activities and decor.
Just putting it out there, I think if EA were to re-master 3 like Skyrim has done, they'd make a motza.
