The processor is fine for TS3; other people play on it without any trouble. My comment was more about futureproofing, since you might want to run other games on your computer, and those might run much better on a newer CPU. The HDD will also run TS3; it'll just be slower than an SSD, probably by a significant margin if you have a lot of custom content. But if you get frustrated in a year or two with the slowness, you can get the HDD replaced with a large SSD. A 1 TB model might cost you $110.
Also, as igazor said, the objection to Alienware is the price, not the hardware, which is generally of good quality.
Honestly I was reading a LOT of threads and I'm a female so I tend to investigate lol. Anyway , i noticed most of the people who post positive reviews say alienware laptops running without problems . The problem is though most of those people seem to have older machines .I found a LOT of reviews complaining about machines showing problems from 3 months and beyond. It seems like the quality of alienware has gone down since Dell bought it , and honestly the price point is horrid. Another thing that bothered me was how many recent reviews I have seen regarding overheating issues, motherboard failure and more. The more recent reviews also mentioned poor customer service.
*Not bashing Alienware . Some of their hardware is very nice and I understand people tend not to post reviews if they don't have problems *
Long story short I talked to best buy and they said when I recive the computer I can exchange it for the one I linked .They're even honoring the memorial day deal for me .MSI and Asus seem to be very highly accredited and trusted . I definitly learned my lesson. so I actually ended up taking your advice along with recommendations on other threads into serious consideration. When the laptop comes Wednesday, I'm exchanging it for this :

I like this one because it has lots of reviews (4.8 stars to be exact ) along with a bigger ssd , 1 tbsp of hdd and a dedicated gtx 1060 graphics, 16 GB of ram( sims 3 depends heavily on that I hear) ,and 8th gen proccesor .
