Bills...is there a way to pay them automatically?

I've relaxed about picking up the mail. If I fail to pay the bills, there is a popup in the game warning that the time to pay them is running out. You can click the popup and it will pay the bills for you. I've yet to see the Repo man in my game. This is a nice feature and I'm very surprised to read the many posts like this one. Scratching my head over this. It's so simple.
