- SimmingPuddinRising Traveler@morganlefaye: did you download it from Origin?
- @morganlefaye - Not sure what web browsers have to do with this. Where did you purchase the game from?
- Firefox? That shouldn't have anything to do with it. Did you purchase game keys from an online retailer? If so, then I think that you're going to have to associate them with either an Origin account or a Steam account. I can't help with that because I've never done it, but I'm pretty sure that the only two places from which you can actually download the game are Origin and Steam.
- You either bought from steam or origin in which you have to download game through their respective apps, not firefox. if you bought cd key from your 'Firefox' you still need to redeem the key through origin.
- @izecson @SimSpock @igazor @Puddinroy I got from Origin.
- You might try removing and reinstalling Origin and clearing its cache.
But if you purchased TS3 from Origin and it won't download and install from within Origin, then there could be an issue with your Origin account that nothing can fix on your end. Only EA Customer Service can see into accounts and reset things if something on their end is blocking the program from installing. - @igazor it gave me a code for it to download.
- @morganlefaye - Not really sure what that means, I'm afraid. You chatted or spoke with customer service one on one and they successfully solved the issue with a new code to redeem in Origin, perhaps (hopefully), or are you still stuck?
- Hi @morganlefaye Just checking in how your install is.
Are you still stuck?
Not from The Sims, just been playing for a while.
