I'm finding this challenge a bit difficult as all of my Sims in every generation have to either marry an imaginary friend made real or find and marry a service Sim. That gets difficult when you have ten children to pair off at one time. :grimace:
I like my Sims to marry someone they are attracted to, but when there are so many Sims and so few choices I may have to resort to marrying them off to the first random Sim they meet. Of course, if they have earned their community lot already, I can send them off to college to find a mate. The rule about not having any empty houses in the world that I don't move someone into is my biggest complaint. As a result, Story Progression is not an option for me.
Sheri McKnight tried to have a long-distant relationship with Gabriel Bonaparle from France, but that didn't work out well. The responses she received from her love letters were a bit frightening. Basically, he wished her dead and was very creative in his description of this. Perhaps because I had her sending love letters to him when they were still acquaintances.
I suppose if a family outgrows their home, Story Progression would typically make them move into something more suitable. The rules don't say that I can't build them a new home to move into. I think if I were moving the entire family, I would have to bulldoze the original home.
