Sound advice from igazor as always. The problem with Bridport for me is the elevators. No matter what, they are just glitchy. I often had to object reset the elevator in my sims apartment. Using mods from NRaas such as Overwatch, ErrorTrap, Traffic, GoHere, and Register helped out a lot. ellacharmed has a version of Bridgeport with some routing issues cleaned up and I meant to play with that version but ended up playing the default EA version. That was last year. I wanted to check out the world since it had been a few years and back then, I had an eMachine (not meant for simming at all). Much better experience but again, probably couldn't have done it without NRaas mods.
Back on topic... My all-time favorite is Lucky Palms. I have to stop myself from playing in that world because it's all I ever want to do. The premades, scenery, architecture, ports by the lake, and amount of empty flat land is what makes up LP for me. First and only world I ever paid full price for and I still say it's worth it. Plus... The Gold version adds a casino. The store eventually added a smaller casino set so you don't need LP: Gold. A friend from the old site gifted me the extra casino stuff so every now and then, I put together one big casino for my sims to visit.
@Scorpina2009 Building up an empty world is very ambitious. :)
