@xLunaSimsx Thank you for your reply! I've read the Sims 3 can only use a maximum of 4GB of memory because of the way it is made. I think (and hope haha) that 6GB will be enough..
I realise a gaming pc is cheaper compared to a laptop, but because I travel I'd rather have a laptop so that I can take it with me. Once the new school year starts, I'm planning to take it back and forth with me from uni to back home in the weekends and use it for my studies as well (bring it to lectures and such).
