@martinaaa998 While the 9750H might be useful for other purposes, e.g. heavy photo or video editing, it won't make any difference to Sims 3. Even other games that would benefit from a stronger processor (Cities Skylines comes to mind) are going to be limited by the Nvidia 1650 instead. Sims 3 isn't going to use all the power of the 8300H, even if you're multitasking while playing. So I'd definitely go with more storage rather than the faster CPU.
For what it's worth, you should be able to add more memory or storage to that Asus in either configuration. It has two RAM slots, and the motherboard supports up to 32 GB memory. It also has space for two hard drives, with both a PCIe slot and a drive bay that would accommodate just about any 2.5" drive. I would guess that the one drive each model comes with is an extremely fast NVMe solid state drive in the PCIe slot, and the 2.5" drive bay is empty. But if you don't want to deal with upgrades, or pay for a second hard drive, it's much more convenient to get the larger SSD instead.
