cant blow out candles for one sim

I tried researching this and am only finding for TS4 and sims 3 toddlers. My sim is a young adult, with a full meter ready to change to an adult. I decided to throw her a birthday party but i can blow out candles for everyone except her. Aging is ON, and i use nraas SP. Please help... will she age without cake? Will the birthday party be considered a failure since no one aged up lol
