Forum Discussion
- Hey AoriKin - welcome to The Sims forums. While I appreciate you offering some insight on to what might be causing people issue's with editing their werewolves, please try not to post in old discussions. Once again, welcome and keep on simmin'!
- I'm having the same issue. I guess it works OK on new sims, made in CAS from Edit Town, but not on existing sims. The way I understand it, we're supposed to be able to change existing sims as well.
I was wondering if it was something I did wrong, or if others were having this issue. This is a member of the Wolff family. (premade)
It gave me a message that says to change the appearance of a werewolf, click the "transform" button over their portrait. I don't have that button. - Did you try to edit them while in werewolf form?
Or if just for facial hair, try change appearance in the mirror? - Hmmm mines work, it'll be above there head in CAS. I have MC installed though!
- I did try them when they were in werewolf form - they just reverted back to human once I was in CAS. I don't have any NRASS mods installed.
The body hair only changed that of their regular sim form.
Did you mean the transform button would appear over the sim's head, or over the head of their portrait below left. (where mine shows blank in the pic) - I watched the first live broadcast of the SN ep, and they showed how to changed the werewolfs, and even the fairy ears, but when I went to make a fairy, the ear option wasnt there for me anywhere. I was very disappointed.
- I found the pointed ears in regular "looks" - the option with the head. Select that, then select ear, and the options are there.
(3rd button down on the left in my pic above) - Yeah there's a transform button on top of the sims head, you tranform them into a wolf and edit how you want them too look while in werewolf state. It's there for sure, because I made A sim Sam Merlotte and did him last night...(that sounds bad) I mean I created him last night!!
- ~raises hand~
Having the same issue myself, among others.
And its not like the button is invisible or something, it just plain isnt there.
Gotta say, not too terribly surprised there are issues like this. - Actually, if I recall well this bug mainly stems from a conflicts with mods. I can't recall which, I think it was overwatch or something.
Did you use any mods? Did you try deactivating them?
Also, for those who've seen the livechat... my sims can transforms into werewolves, but weren't we supposed to also be able to edit the ability of sims bitten(as opposed to created in CAS at the start of a game) through gameplay, as well as the choices of outfits when transformed(I think I recall such mentions when they reffered to the new torn or ripped clothes...)?
I haven't seen the livechats, but I was under the impression that the "new CAS" would allow us to customizes even sims who were bitten by werewolves or vampires or turned into fairies through gameplay by bringing us to the CAS to customizes their new supernatural appearance when they would change for the first time after being turned or infected.
Anyone can confirm or deny this? As when I made a werewolf/human couple, when the werewolf bit the human and the human shifted for the first time into a werewolf(which he did, taking on werewolves looks), I did not get to control what he was to look like as a werewolf...
