CC from Sims3packs won't install.

Hey, I'm having a problem with my game installing CC from sims3packs. I have tried to install a sims3pack of a sim and a house. Both installed without the CC contained in them. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the packs a couple of times but it doesn't help.

I'm not sure why is isn't working and it's very frustrating. Can someone please help me? Do you have any suggestions? Do I need to uninstall and reinstall the game?

Thanks.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game is not necessary. If you'll post a link to what you're trying to install I'll have a look and see if I can figure out what's wrong.

Hey, thanks for responding. This is the house, the only cc is the windows. A friend made it for me: https://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=9429966

The Sim was one another friend made for me. She hasn't uploaded it anywhere.

    Thanks :)

I’ve checked two different ways. The CC is not included in the Sims3pack file. You need to download (or get it from your friend) and install the CC and then install the house for it to show up. It’s a nice house even without the CC. Your friend did a great job.

Thank you very much. Can I ask how you were able to check? :)

Sure! First I checked it with Custard, a tool from MTS that allows you to see what's in a Sims3pack. There was only the house file and some pictures.

Next I extracted the file with the multi-installer to see what all came out. It was just the one package file. I opened that package file with S3PE and looked around to see if there were any CC files included.

Actually I checked three ways. The final test was to install it into a clean game folder and see if any CC installed. None did, so I booted up the game and had a look at the house and saw that the CC items were missing.
