It is not possible to manage an install that includes even one EP or SP by way of Origin and stay on Patch 1.67. There was a way to do that briefly when Patch 1.69 first came out in the fall of 2015, but EA closed the loophole fairly quickly.
There are only three ways to install and stay on Patch 1.67:
-- All discs, no exceptions, with the base game disc having been manufactured before Sept 2012 (the age of the EP/SP discs don't matter).
-- Steam installs will be on 1.67 only, there is no 1.69 for Steam. That requires repurchasing the game and all of your packs on the Steam platform.
-- Play the Mac version of the game. Origin for Mac only delivers 1.67 as there is no 1.69 for Mac. But that requires having a Mac to play on in the first place, and the Mac version is more crippled than its Windows sibling so it's not recommended for other reasons.
