Giiiirl I have a 2012 HP that runs every Sims game 1-4 on it just fine. There is occasional lagging/crashing, but all-in-all, I don't think you need to have a fancy gaming computer to run all of the games.
My parents work with computers, so I've had an Alienware laptop and desktop before. They're great for gaming but not necessary!
