Consign Horse Granola?

Just as the thread title states, does this work? My sim was taking in her usual nectar delivery and had her homemade horse granola in her inventory and there was an option to consign it. My store works well and I don't want to "test" it and go through placing another one and waiting for a clerk again with a busy family of 8 and a horse. Does anyone know if this is supposed to be a consignable homemade item?

  • You say there was an option to consign it? Why not just try?
  • The consignment store can glitch and my family was getting ready to travel abroad. I know how to fix it, but it takes some time and I have a family of 8 who use the consignment store as their sole source of income.
Since I didn't get an answer, I did already go ahead and try it anyhow. It consigned at a value of $0. It's not been reported as sold yet, though some of the nectar was. There's an option to "cancel consignments" on the register, so I will see what happens and update here.
  • I see. The reason why I couldn't give you a direct answer to your question is simply that I never made any horse granola.

Items with a value of zero simoleons cannot be sold via the consignment store, not even with NRaas Consigner.
  • My sims have stolen and consigned cars...and gotten greater than market value off them. :D So Horse granola...well...wouldn't be surprised if it could but more than likely, since it is a zero value item. it probably will not be saleable. Of course, if you put a value on it via Debug Enabler>set value you MAY see it pop up. Worth a try.
  • That's funny. I accidentally deleted that save so I didn't see another day of sales but it didn't break the store or anything. I was not aware of adding a value. Thanks! :)
