I guess the next question is, what has changed since before this started happening? Any Windows or device driver updates or hardware changes? Are you certain that you are not too low on available hard drive space? Is the game using the correct graphics card (show us your DeviceConfig log if you want) and is its frame rate still capped if that is relevant?
nothing has changed. it happens when I get somewhere close to a week in game with a new save. all nraas mods make it crash . even when I take out my cc and things of the sort. I recently wiped my pc thinking it may help. started a fresh folder . It happened in salmon woods and legacy island III- Okay, so the crash it taking quite a while to happen and it's not at the outset of these games.
What kind of RAM usage is Task Manager reporting on for TS3 itself (in GBs, not percentages) when you start up and again after a half hour to an hour (real time) or longer of gameplay, but of course before the crash?
And what kind of fps rates are you getting in-game and as you play and move the game camera around? Cheats console, fps on (enter) to see the actual frame rates displayed. Fps off (enter) to switch it back off again.
Again, can we see the contents of your DeviceCofig log? - Everything is as normal as can be . No unusual lag and ram usage is normal too . The crash happens not even a minute into gameplay. The camera has become smoother as i removed some non nraas mods . I am really puzzled . I dont know if it may have any significance but i was unable to listen to the tabcast as i started taking out nraas mods one by one
- Afraid I'm going to insist upon seeing a dxdiag report, a DeviceConfig log, and some ErrorTrap logs on this install before I can offer any more suggestions. Something has indeed changed here (even if not intentionally) if this isn't the way the game was behaving before and we're just not getting at whatever it might be this way. Even if all of those logs don't really reveal anything helpful in and of themselves, they can at least help us rule out things that might or might not be interfering.
We did ask for a clean folder test. You can't be running custom worlds on a clean game folder as they wouldn't be there, the point of that is to run the game with no content whatsoever (and then some NRaas mods only) to see if things can become and stay stable again. - You provided a copy of one of your saved games, no reports. It's the environment the game is running in that we are trying to investigate here, not the game saves themselves. I could, in theory, install the custom world you were playing and see if I can get your game save to load but I wouldn't know what CC and mods (if any) would be required to make it work right or what I have in play that could make things go wrong.
Edit: Never mind, looks like you changed the upload. Trying again. - Oh i did ? That wasntt supposed to happen
- Got it, mystery solved. Taking this to PMs, this is not a suitable topic for discussion on this forum.
- could an unrecognized video card do this?
- No, that is not the problem in this case.
