@TreyNutz You posted at about the exact moment that I was finishing up writing my book there. You managed to condense my page and a half (or whatever) into four succinct sentences. I applaud your brevity and wish my brain could just shut up and do that a lot of the time! I always get way too into writing and once I start, I can't stop. "Hey, Symb10sis posted! Awwww...it's five pages long...again. :("
@bklienhart Wow! That thread just blew my mind! Instant Bookmark. Thank you!
It's a shame that so many of the pictures are down, but there's more than enough there to keep a person occupied for a very long time. As if I didn't have enough stuff to go through already though
I love building my own homes/venues/etc..., but having inspiration and often finding things that I simply couldn't possibly build on my own because I'm no master like some people out there (though I hope to get there someday) is priceless.
I'm constantly amazed and grateful for how much content there is for The Sims 3 (I bow to some peoples' wizardry - whether it's builds, CC or mods), even though it's gotten to the point where I spend so much time digging through it that I often forget there's a game attached.
Thanks again!
@meerkattime Thanks for chiming in! I guess I'm glad to know I'm not alone (misery loves company), but I'm sorry you had to go through that as well. Like I said in my previous post, the advisors I spoke/chatted with all claimed that nothing was wrong with the site. Hopefully with this sale and enough people buying worlds, they'll get a clue and fix whatever's going on. Roaring Heights took me 5-6 tries before it suddenly worked (and by that point I didn't think it was going to...).
Had I given up on Barnacle Bay, there was a real chance that they were just going to give me my money back because they couldn't get it to work at all and were going to bring in a supervisor within 72 hours. I would've missed out on the sale and forever thought that BB just wasn't available anymore. I guess I'm lucky that I'm persistent (and that the second code finally and magically worked) :).
