The best paying (and also most boring) that I've played is writer. Royalties can top 100k a week easy, and you're sim can stop and do whatever they want, so it works well if you have something else planned for later. Royalties continue for six weeks after the books are written, so you'd have a steady and large income for a long time. But like I said, it's boring.
