I have always played with the Imaginary Friend, and had my sims marry their IF, but this time around I did do not want that.So I learned how to delete the IF.For those of you who do not know this is how.Put the IF on the floordo tiestingcheatsenabled turego to build modethen hold down the shift key and click on the IF I am not sire if it was the Shift key and the Ctrl both but try bothit will come up to delete. It works as I have deleted them twice.

That does work but like the above poster said, it can cause glitches. Evil beings, those IF’s are :angry: What I do as a workaround is I place any IF’s on the ground in the house that my sims live in so that way they aren’t in any inventories. Then, I move the family out of the house and move them into a new one. I think that until the IF becomes alive, it's just a toy like the teddy bear. Any time I see them, I always delete them with the NRaas Master Controllers object stats option. I've never had any problems from doing that, even in very long term saves.

If you have some nraas mods, there are settings to disable the chance of getting them. What I do with them if I forget to change the settings is, just make a small room and put the IF in there. Under the stairs works perfect :D

I'm usually like that too :) I feel sorry for things when I see a sad piccy, but I just can't with those dolls. They just make my skin crawl.

@Karritz, now I'm curious. What happens if a regular sim drinks the IF potion? Probably nothing, but I guess EA missed making another great opportunity to give a regular sim the nausea moodlet.

It isn't easy to get the imaginary friend to drink it. I suspect it'd be impossible for any other type of sim to drink it. I think they can get nauseous from sufficiently numerous items. I like to give mine the strong stomach reward to prevent nausea.

Do the teddy bears "do" anything?

Adults can talk to toddlers 'through' them.

@Nikkei_Simmer I think normal sim won't get the option to drink it? Like they can't drink the vampire cure.

I get the message that "Ragdoll" wants to come out and play. But what if you don't put the doll on the ground, and just leave it in the kid's inventory? Does it come out and play on its own? I've never seen it do that on its own. I have always had to move it to the floor myself, first.

I've always had to move the doll out of inventory.

Interesting. The ones that survive in my game are out all the time, and I would NEVER get them out if it were up to me.

I can't stand the imaginary friends. I always delete them using testingcheats. I need to figure out how get rid of them with NRaas.

The name of the mod starts with R (I think). Step by step instructions were on the old NRAAS site. No idea about the new one yet though. It is a matter of changing a number to 0. That is the number for the chance of getting an IF. Sorry I can't be more clear. I always have to search for the instructions when I make it 100% of the time so my sims always get one.
