That night, everyone in the household had dinner. Then, Luna washed the dishes and cleaned up the rest of the large kitchen. The house might have three floors and a basement, but it was definitely not a mansion. The residence did have an abundance of rooms and large spaces, though. It could fit multiple generations, perhaps up to four if possible. The two couples gathered around a small table in the kitchen.

"For a sorceress, you don't seem to use magic as much as your sister does," Shawn pointed out.
"I'm the kind of woman who would be demure and gentle. I don't see many reasons to use magic," Luna said.
"Makes sense, considering. Lucas and I use magic a little more often."
"So does Sylvia. I'll stick to what I'm comfortable with. I wouldn't mind being rescued should something happen to me."

Sylvia sighed. "Sometimes I wonder why you're addicted to fairy tale tropes."
"Aw, come on. Nothing wrong with needing help," Luna said.
"Right."
"I got ambushed one night, remember? And I couldn't take on both Ganondorf and Cronan at the same time. They're both powerful and three times my size!"

Luna turned her attention to Shawn. "Have you ever used magic while working?"
"Maybe a little. Just the hygiene part, I guess," Shawn replied. "I'm more likely to use my physical abilities." He flexed his muscles for emphasis. His biceps strained against his sleeves.
Luna squeezed Shawn's arm. "You're so strong."

Sylvia glanced at Lucas. "My sister is gonna be a damsel a lot more often now that she's in politics."
"Don't give the universe any ideas," Lucas whispered.
"Actually, the universe has ideas." Sylvia pushed a strand behind her ear. "I bet Cronan and Ganondorf are plotting something horrible."
"That's why we joined law enforcement. To stop the Dragmires and their minions from completely destroying the town."

Luna shrugged. "So that means you and Lucas will be in the same office every day."
Sylvia smiled. "That's right."
"Are you gonna, you know, do things while you're at it?"
"I don't think you can do that in the workplace. I guess your hair color seeped into your brain."

"I'm just teasing," Sylvia said.
