Deliver cookies?!

Since the cookies in question were baked 11 years ago (check the age on this thread), not sure but I think they may be a bit stale by now... :/

Bake some cookies and put them in your Sims' inventory and bring them to the location the opportunity tells you to.

I think that should work, but I'm not 100% sure :oops:

HOw do I get them in his inventory? There's no hand that appears like in TS2.

This is what I came in to find out about. My Sim is to make a group meal for a co-worker. I couldn't figure out what to do, so I invited him to my house, but the option to deliver the food wouldn't light up. So, does my Sim take the meal to his house or to the hopital where my Sim works? I guess I will try both and see what happens.

Ok. You can't drag them into your inventory. Here's what worked.

1) Bake the cookies
2) Put away leftover (put them in the fridge)
3)open the fridge
4)move them into your inventory from the fridge's inventory.

...so weird

Thanks for the replies. Another family member is playing right now, so I'll have to wait my turn to give the suggestions a try. I think we need another CD. :lol:

It says do 2 group meals.Is this different from just clicking serve cookies and then putting them in your inventry? do i have to work on cooking skill to be able to prepare GROUP meals?

Ok took a chance and here is what I did.
Serve dessert-cookies
Soon as Sim puts cookies on counter pause quickly before sim eats any of them.
Put them in your inventory. Do this twice, this was classed as 2 group meals of cookies and was allowed to delivery them.

I was told well done and heres some money as a reward. The amount never shown up though and not sure how much I had already.I wish I was told the amount.
