Well, Harold Assange was just asking for it. Being a pest (paparazzo) and bugging River’s and Haruo’s kids. ? - Voted sometimes, because I always try but I've never completed one yet... :'(
- Hey everyone!
Love to see everyone's aspect on this, I'm always wondering about how other people play and wonder if I should feel guilty when I don't complete a sim's wish!
I voted for sometimes because I usually play with big families for many generations and I tend to focus on some sims lifetime wishes and complete them, even get them a second one and do that too but completely ignore other sims' wishes, I think it has to do with which sims I bond with more throughout their lives, sounds weird but if I vibe with a sim I usually make them live a really fulfilling, happy life so best way to do that is make them succeed in their lifetime wish, if I don't have a strong connection with a sim on the other hand I'll most probably be like eh, let him/her be mediocre :p
Anyway you choose to play, happy simming! - I've got an immortal sim and she has completed almost all of the aspirations available...

I decided to make this poll because I have a sim who's about to become an elder who hasn't completed her LTW and I feel bad.
Almost always. I'll cancel out the low pointers when something valuable comes along.- mw1525Seasoned NewcomerI always complete their LTW, haven't missed one so far :)!
I assign LTWs which are unrelated to the Sims skill, suggested personality via traits or work interest, this makes creating strategies for success more fun for me. For example, a Sim who works in Law Enforcement may have a LTW of Jack of All Trades or Professional Author and not one related to Law Enforcement. Or, a Sim in the business of entertainment may have Chess Legend or Perfect Mind, Perfect Body instead of Super Popular. - AlexaKryNew SpectatorUnfortunately I can´t vote, because my preferable choice isn´t there, sorry.
I don´t care for the LTWs, if they are completed or not doesn´t interest me at all. :p
I don´t even care for fulfilling their wishes, these I´ll just take as a little hint what they want and what I´ll make them do eventually. - I would say "Almost always!".
Usually, I'll try to set an attainable (not too challenging) LTW for my Sims and also compatible with their traits.
Then, I'll utilize the points earned from fulfilling the wish on additional traits to help the Sims with other goals. "mw1525;c-17419012" wrote:

I do the very same thing. I feel like this allows me to play my sim while also enjoying other aspects of the game not necessarily related to work. It’s why I like to give them varied traits and always one negative one cause it makes for unexpected fun lol"Simtown15;c-17420688" wrote:
@mw1525 I’ve decided to try this to some extent. I gave my charismatic virtuoso Golden Tongue, Golden Fingers instead of the usual Rock Star. He’s already at level 7 of the music career, but he still has a ways to go with his lifetime wish.
@Lucy_Henley It’s been a goal of mine to get the obelisk, but it’s difficult on normal lifespan. With my current elders, I’m definitely getting the headstone.
@JoBass24us My sims usually get a negative trait anyways because I rarely get to choose all 5 traits. For example, one of my sims ended up with the grumpy trait because she had bad grades.
Hahaha! I love the bad traits. I don’t like making “perfect” sims. I just recently returned to 3 after playing for 4 for a bit so I’m getting to know it all over again. I’m having such great fun because of the random unpredictable things my sims do. I did create a sim and gave her the hot headed trait. She is also a cook, Gardner, neat and family oriented. I was playing for a bit and with everything I’m relearning I’d forgotten the traits I’d given her. Well she leaves work and randomly chews out this sim that was trying to compliment her! I was like, omg! Then I sent her home and as she is making her way she decides to randomly send a mean text. Lmao ? I just put her to bed!
Stuff like this is hilarious to me!
