Do you look to see how a kid will look when they are older?

I like the surprise, and even if sometimes I'm tempted, I don't peek. It's a little different with the hero of my story, Derek. I created him adult and aged him down. So even though he was not a particularly attractive child, I knew what to expect when he grew up.

I used to be a die hard wait and reveal kind of simmer. ;) But over the last year (while watching others do it) I've become a peeker. :p Especially in my deeply invested stories. :)

Haha, I try not to... But I hate the fact that that I get disappointed if a child becomes "ugly"... what kind of asshole am I :(

As for me, I sometimes peek, just to see how they come out. :smile: If they look bad, I can always cheat and re-do them, lol.

@bunny-gypsy I don't redo them, ever. Except if there are really big slider mistakes - like problems to open the mouth and such. I like the sims in my town to be ordinary, we'll see if I change my mind when I get a look at Missy and Juan's off-spring! :p

I peek and tweak. If I know the outcome isn't going to be "up to par" - then yes, I tweak.

By default I edit a sim each time they age up, just cause I like customization so I can recognize my sim in a crowd quickly(especially if they aren’t an heir, but I like to keep tabs on them with story progression ). I also have a weird habit coordinating all my sim’s outfit to their favorite color.

TLDR: No, I don’t take a peek because I don’t feel like I need to.
