And in June 2018 I still use the store!
agree.
that was quite a statement for them to make.people also still go over their for the exchange and home pages as well as the store - IreneSwiftSeasoned NewcomerI still use the store too, and there are a number of things I would still like to buy eventually. I just hope they'll keep it going until I am able to get everything that I want, and also that they'll give us plenty of warning when the time comes that they do close the store.
- To be honest ı don't like Sims 3 Store.I have already paid lots of money on expansions and stuff packs so why would ı pay more to the objects which could have been included into expesitions.Or if those sets/worlds/lots on Store would be much more cheaper than ı would consider buying but of course they have to make them as much expensive as stuff packs or expansions.
When it comes to Sims 3 Ultimate Collection ı'm kinda hesitant.Cause anyone who has ever played Sims 3 knows that Sims 3 is the most buggy game in the Sims series.Yeah my computer does not good neither but even in simple things Sims 3 always finds the way to make it buggy. So if they ever consider to release Sims 3 Ultimate Collection they had better redesign it. - Bettyboop55New SpectatorNo thank you. I have tried to use TS2 UC but it crashes every time I open it and my laptop has enough welly to run TS3 with no problem.
For those who want an UC they may have a bit of a wait. Perhaps when and if they announce TS5 EA might pursue that option. For now though I think
they are making enough in residual sales to not worry. After all there are no new development costs or physical production costs. And the same goes for store content. I do think the store would have closed long ago if there wasn't still a profit in it.
As for cost of an UC, then I agree with others, having paid for the packs and store content once it would not be reasonable to ask people to pay again. Unless of course there had been some serious updating and bug fixing. I would also expect it to be more mod friendly and naturally come on a disk. Sighs, unlikely though that is in this digital age :D - I hope so! But that would take days to download with all the store content, EP's/SP's etc...
- ChebadooNew NoviceI think they might, someday.

Well, the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection did not come with the store content (yes, Sims 2 had a store, it wasn't very successful as I recall). I would assume a Sims 3 Ultimate Collection would also not include store content.
Hopefully they release a Sims 3 Store Bundle when they go to pull the Sims 3 Store down.
As for timing, baddazoner is probably right, if they give it away for free. If they decide to go the buy route, it could happen in the next year or so. They won't want to ruin any potential sales for the first few EP's of TS4.
This.
You wouldn't get store stuff with TS3 with the possible exception of the worlds that were sold some made it to retail. Monte Vista,Hidden Springs and Barnacle Bay may come with the ultimate set. - I wouldn't need it but I'd love a store content pack :P
but I agree with the above user, they're still making lots of money from it. TS4 is still fairly new, I don't know why people keep asking if people are moving on from TS3 yet, it hasn't been that long yet lol.

When sims 2 ultimate collection was offered, I only asked for it because my games were stuck on the slow laggy laptop. I was only missing the holiday stuff pack.. so now I own it twice digitally lol. - > @InfraGreen said:

Yeah, I meant to point that out. Maybe because it didn't have much attention? I think the more attention, the quicker. Thanks for signing! - > @peno11 said:
> I agree it would be nice to have Ultimate or Complete Edition, but how exactly it would work and what all it would contain? They didn't release as much content for the new SimCity, yet even its Complete Edition wasn't totally complete, as it didn't contain the exclusive content for Cities of Tommorow Limited Edition. Who would decide what exclusive or bonus content would be included and what would not? And what with people who already have that content? I personally have all EPs except Pets (since it was the first LE EP and I didn't know there was one) and Supernatural (as I wasn't fan of supernatural Sims before, but turned out I loved it and miss the Pea Shooter), so what content from LEs I would get and what I wouldn't? And what about store content? As much as I hate to admit it now, we all know it's just matter of time before thesims3.com website, including the Store, would be closed. What would happen with Store content? Would it be lost if you will not back it up before? Or will the Ultimate edition have all of it contained, even the things I didn't have before? Those are questions that just popped in my mind when I saw this thread.
Exactly. I totally dodged that explanation, thanks for helping me make this better. Appreciate it. Although, this is a petition. I'm resting the installation instruction in EA hands if they actually decide to. In Sims 2 UC, it doesn't matter if you had all EPs before you installed it. You just have to paste your previous game file into the new file.
