Do you usually your give your sims house phones?

I was just going through the 'what happened in your game today' thread when I saw a house phone, which got me wondering if most people give their sims house phones. Personally, I only give them house ...

I know many play and love both games, but just glancing at your posting history we should probably ask if you are actually playing TS3 as that is what this thread is about. I wouldn't know if there are landline phones in TS4.
