I have all the disk, but I can't even use them to install, because something happened that my computer doesn't even recognize anything past The Sims 3 base game disk, and won't play them, I can install them, but it won't play them, it won't even start up the game. This all happened after I accidentally ended up with the 1.69 patch. I'm pretty sure that there is something hidden inside my my computer that was put into place by the 1.69 patch, but I don't even have a clue to what it would be or where to look to remove it.
I am planning on getting another computer later on, and at that time I'll try again with only Sims 3 for that computer, and leave my Sims 2 and 4 to this one.
yep after I updated Origin, and the game, installed the stuff packs, I clicked on the icon on my desktop as I usually do & the game wouldn't open.
Said the game needs Origin to play it. Which is so wrong imo because all Origin does is spy on us.
I saw some files that said things other than Origin (maybe worded a little differently)
What business is that of theirs what we do on our computers ? As long as we're not breaking laws.
And they keep track of how many hours the player spends on the game which is ridiculous imo. It's really NOTB.
edit: you could do what I did to roll your game back to 1.67. System restore if you have windows
