EA you are violating your own terms
If you have not updated your game past 1.67 don't buy anymore stuff packs or sets for Sims 3. EA is forcing update if you do. I bought 2 stuff packs and was not able to install them unless I updated...

But I am saying that using System Restore to arrange for a downgrade on a third party program like this can yield mixed results for different players depending upon what it is their system would provide for them to actually restore. Again, I'm glad that it seems (thus far) to have worked for you. For others it will not, and is not to be recommended to all as that would be a disservice to those who will find themselves unable to play at all without having to do an entire uninstall, registry repair, and start over.

Everybody don't try what I did; system restore it might not work out for you.
Actually I didn't know if it would work for me either, and I was & still am angry.
I hate when people play with my money. And now I'm out $40.00 because of EA antics. It's just absurd imo.
And I'm not angry at you or fighting with you, just venting.
